Meet the Teacher

Hello!  My name is Carmen J. Taveras.  I have been teaching for 16 years.  I taught kindergarten or 7 years, 1st grade for 2 years, and this is my 7th year teaching 3rd grade.  I have a Bachelors Degree in General Education, Masters Degree in Mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Administration & Supervision.  

I believe educating students is a collaboration between parents, teachers, and many other stakeholders involved in students lives.  Together we can assure our students/children become their best self.
