About:

Hi!!  My name is Michelle Castellon and I have been a Special Education Teacher in Perth Amboy since October of 2001.  I graduated from Montclair State University with my undergrad in Psychology and my Masters in Teacher of the Handicapped.  I began my career at Samuel E. Shull School teaching a 5th and 6th grade self-contained class where I taught for 7 years.  I was then given the opportunity to work with 4th grade students at the R.N. Wilentz School as an inclusion teacher for 3 years.  I then came to A.V. Ceres school and taught 3rd and 4th grade resource room, 1st grade inclusion and now 2nd grade inclusion! I thoroughly enjoy working with children and helping them reach their full potential while having fun in the process.

I grew up in Oldbridge and have lived in North NJ for the past 20 years.  I am married and have 2 beautiful girls who keep me very busy with their sports and school.  I love spending time with my family, traveling and having fun.  Some of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate and relaxing!
